How to setup LeadSnap to be white labeled for your agency or business

Quick Links

Step 1

Go to Email Settings

Click “Settings” in the top navigation bar, then click “Email Settings” in the left navigation. This is where you’ll connect an email account to the system.

Step 2

Add an Email Account

Click “Add Email Account.” You’ll see the following provider options:

Available Email Providers

AOL

Gmail

iCloud

Outlook

Yahoo

Other

Select your provider and enter the required credentials.

Step 3

Validate and Save the Email

Follow the prompts to validate your email account. Once validated, the email will appear in your Email Settings as connected.

Critical: If you select Gmail, the password field is not asking for your regular Gmail password. You must create an App Password inside your Google account first, then use that app password to validate. Your normal Gmail login password will not work.

Step 4

Navigate to White Label Domain

In the left navigation under Settings, click “White Label Domain.” This is where you’ll configure your custom domain.

Step 5

Enter Your Custom Domain

Enter your domain using a subdomain prefix followed by your agency’s domain. Common subdomain choices include:

  • crm.youragency.com

  • app.youragency.com

  • gbp.youragency.com

Select the email account you connected in Steps 2–3, enable the domain, and click “Save.”

Tip: Pick a subdomain that makes sense for your clients. “crm” or “app” are the most common and professional-sounding options.

Step 6

Create a CNAME Record in Your DNS

Go to wherever your DNS is managed (your domain registrar or hosting provider) and create a new CNAME record with the following settings:

Field

Value

Type

CNAME

Name

Your chosen prefix (e.g., crm, app, or gbp)

Target

cname.leadsnap.com

Save the CNAME record in your DNS provider.

Step 7

Wait for DNS Propagation

DNS changes can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to propagate. Give it some time before checking.

Tip: Don’t keep refreshing immediately. Set a timer for 10–15 minutes, then come back and check.

Step 8

Verify the DNS Configuration

Return to the White Label Domain page in LeadSnap and click “Save” again. The system will check your DNS settings.

  • Green “Success” message — your DNS is configured correctly and the domain is live.

  • Yellow error message — something is not set up correctly. Double-check your CNAME record (name and target) in your DNS provider and try again.

Once you see the green success message, navigate to your custom domain in a browser. You should see a login screen.

Step 9

Customize the Login Page and System Branding

Under “White Label” in the left navigation, you’ll find two customization pages:

Page

What It Controls

Login Page

Colors, logo, and images on the login screen your clients see before logging in

System Settings

Branding, colors, and logos throughout the rest of the platform after login
