Step 1
Refresh Your Google Account Permissions
Important: This step is only required for users who created their LeadSnap account before August 20th. If your account was created after that date, skip to Step 2. |
Click "GBP" in the top navigation bar. In the left-hand navigation, scroll all the way down and click "Accounts." On the Accounts page, you will see your connected Gmail accounts each with a green "Refresh" button next to them.
Find the Gmail account you want to use and click "Refresh." This will prompt you to re-sign into that Google account, which grants LeadSnap the additional permissions needed to access Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Step 2
Set Up Your Company
Google Search Console properties are connected at the company level in LeadSnap, so you need to make sure the right company exists before linking anything.
Click "Settings" in the top navigation, then click "Companies" in the left-hand navigation. If the company you need already exists, you're good to move on. If not, click "Create Company" and create it now.
Tip: Company names should reflect the domain of the business. For example, if the business domain is acrepairmiami.com, the company should be named AC Repair Miami. |
Step 3
Add the GSC Property Column
From the Companies page, click "Columns" in the top-right corner. Find "GSC Property" in the column list and click the eyeball icon to make it visible. Once added, click the yellow "Save Changes" button in the top right to save your column configuration.
Tip: New columns are added to the far right of the table by default. You can drag the GSC Property column to the left to make it easier to find when managing multiple companies. |
Step 4
Link Your Search Console Property
In the GSC Property column next to your company, click the green "Link Property" button. A pop-up will appear showing your connected Google accounts and their associated Search Console properties.
If your accounts do not appear, click the green "Refresh" button inside the pop-up to pull them in.
Your Search Console properties will be listed with one of two labels:
Label | Meaning |
U | URL-verified — the domain was connected to Search Console via URL verification |
D | Domain-verified — the domain was connected to Search Console via domain verification |
Select the property that matches the company you are working with, then click "Link Property" in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up. Your Search Console account is now connected to that company.
Step 5
View Your Website Performance Data
Search Console data is viewed at the workspace level — not from inside an individual GBP location. Click "GBP" in the top navigation. If you are currently inside a specific GBP location, click "Back to All Locations" to return to the workspace level first.
In the left-hand navigation, scroll down to the "Search Analytics" section and click "Website Performance." This is where all Search Console data for your connected company will be displayed.
In the top-right corner of the Website Performance page, use the company selector to switch between companies and the date filter to adjust the reporting period.
